Memers are soley responsabile to obay all Local And State Fishing regulations. PHOTOS: Prizes: Winners will be given there choice of A Bass Pro Shop Gift Certificate or a Check. Prize winnings may be subject to state and local taxes. Amateur Angler assumes no responsibility for failure to adequately report your winnings. All protest must be sumbmitted via email within 24 hours of a winner being declared. All claims and/or disoutes will be examined, and all decisions rendered by Amateur Angler will be final. Amateur Angler reserves the right to refuse any application. Memebrs that refuse to cooperate will be disqualified. Cancellation: Amateur Angler reserves the right to add, delete, or modify the list of eligible species, enhance, change, alter, or terminate the tournaments at any time. General release: Fishing presents hazards at any time: weather, faulty equipment and poor seamanship, to name a few. As a condition of entering the tournametns and/or becoming a member of Amateur Angler the participant fully indemnifies Amateur Angler and all it's employees, directors, representatives and agents. Modifications: These rules may be amended or modifield by Amateur Angler in its sole discretion at any time. Any such amendments will be posted to thos page and will apply to any trasactions and events that ocur after the effective date thereof. It is your responsibility to review this page from time to time for such amendments. Prizes will be awarded to the top three fish caught and entered in each region during posted tournament dates. The term prize purse will be used to mean the amount of money per region to be awarded for tournaments winners.
General Information:
Trout tournaments will begin in MARCH and run throu the end of JUNE. There will be a minuim of 12 tournaments.
BASS tournament will begin in JUNE and run throu DECEMBER. There will be a minuim of 21 tournaments.
VAREOS SPECIES tournaments will be held throut the year. The number of tournametns will vary depending on the popularity of tournaments. The more compitiors, the more tournemaents.
All competitors must post their entry by 12 pm following the ending date of the tounrament enteried. Photographs are required. There is no maximum number of fish that can be entered, enter as many fish as you catch. All photos and information submitted into fishing log become the property of Amateur Angler.
All winners are at the sole discretion of Amateur-Angler. Amateur-Angler reserves the right to disqualify any entry for, but not limited to the following: Entries posted after tournament dates have ended, no photograph with entry, suspicion of cheating, suspicion of over exaggerating entry.
In the event of a tie, the next heaviest catch of that species will be used to determine a winner. If the next heaviest catch is a tie then the third heaviest catch will be used to determine a winner. This process will continue until a winer is determined. If all entries are equal then the prize will be awarded to the Angler that has the most entries of that species. If all weights and entries are equal, Amateur Angler will randomly select a winner.
Residents of Vermont, Maryland, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Tennessee, and those under 18 years of age are not eligible to compete, but are welcome to become members and enjoy the use of their personail On-Line Fishing Logs
SPECIES:

As the number of competitors in each region increase so will the prizes awarded.
For regions between one and one hundred competitors the prize purse will equal three dollars per competitor, and awarded at 60% for first prize, 25% for second prize, and 15% for third prize.
For each competitor per region with between one hundred and one to two hundred competitors the total prize amount awarded for that region will increase by two dollars per competitor, and awarded at 50% for first prizes, 30% for second prize, and 20% for third prize.
For each region with between two hundred and one to three hundred competitors the total prize amount awarded will increase by five percent of annual entry fee per competitor. This increase in prize winnings will be divided evenly between first, second, and third prizes.
